Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks a qualified Anesthesiologist Assistant for the Brunswick Surgery Center. You will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across diverse orthopedic procedures, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.

Strong clinical leadership and collaboration with the care team are essential. Requirements include a Master’s Degree from an Accredited AA Program and licensure with the American Academy of Anesthesiologist

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program.
• Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Case Assignments & Schedule

• Schedule: 4 (10s). No nights, weekends or holidays!
• General Orthopedics, Joint Replacement (Hip, Knee and Shoulder), Sports Medicine, Hand and Upper Extremity, Foot and Ankle, Neck and Back and Interventional Pain Management. Great autonomy, Regional Experience a plus.
