Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Our client, an A+ rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Sr. Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to their California team. This remote role will consist of handling California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge in California Law and must have their SIP. This is a Temporary-to-Hire position with the ability to work fully remote.

  • Handle moderate to complex California Workers Compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
  • Manage a caseload of 85 - 95 indemnity files.
  • Manage medical treatment and medical billing when appropriate
  • Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
  • Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
  • Must be well-versed in California Workers Compensation Law.
  • Must have SIP
  • Must have experience handling litigated files.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Salary/Benefits:

  • $50.00/hr to $60.00/hr (Depending on experience)
