A leading insurance staffing company is seeking a Sr. Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to support their California team. This remote position requires expertise in handling California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates will be experienced, certified, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

• 5 to 10+ years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
• Strong knowledge of California Workers Compensation Law.
• Must have SIP certification.

Our client, an A+ rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Sr. Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to their California team. This remote role will consist of handling California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge in California Law and must have their SIP. This is a Temporary-to-Hire position with the ability to work fully remote.

• Handle moderate to complex California Workers Compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
• Manage a caseload of 85 - 95 indemnity files.
• Manage medical treatment and medical billing when appropriate
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10+ years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
• Must be well-versed in California Workers Compensation Law.
• Must have SIP
• Must have experience handling litigated files.
• Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
• High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Salary/Benefits:

• $50.00/hr to $60.00/hr (Depending on experience)
