Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a warehouse fulfillment team member to interpret pick tickets, load products, and keep cold storage organized. This role includes operating a forklift (certified), handling raw materials, and unloading shipments from carriers.

The candidate should be able to lift 50-55 pounds and work long hours as needed. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with warehouse experience preferred.

Position Summary

Ability to interpret and follow product order pick ticket to load product quickly and accurately, either in Pallet Reefers, break down boxes, or DDD coolers.

Essential Functions

• Loads dry ice in containers that require dry ice.
• Safe operation of forklift (upon certification) to load product shipping containers into commercial carrier containers and to unload empty returned shipping containers from commercial carriers. Unload raw materials deliveries.
• Maintain product in cold storage areas in an organized and neat manner.
• Assembles break down boxes as directed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
• Physically be able to perform job duties, with ability to lift 50-55 pounds.
• Ability to follow both written and oral instructions.
• Must report to work on time and be able to work long hours.
• Assist with equipment orders and repair as instructed after training.
• Ability to work as a team in a team environment and promote teamwork in the department.
• Comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual.

Education and Experience

Required Education: High School diploma or GED.

Required Experience: Warehousing fulfillment desired.

Travel Requirements

Minimal, about 10%.

US Hourly Pay Range: $17.75 - $17.75 USD
