Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Irvine, CA seeks an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of wage and hour litigation experience to join a sophisticated practice defending employers. You will handle California wage and hour disputes, including class and PAGA actions, develop strategy, take depositions, draft motions, and work closely with clients and colleagues.

This role offers ownership of matters, collaboration within a national platform, and a commitment to practical, results-oriented

Qualifications

Active California Bar membership.
J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
5+ years of litigation experience, preferably wage & hour defense.
Working knowledge of the California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA.
Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and legal writing.
Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate issues into strategy.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative environment.
Strong academic background and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Develop litigation strategy and drive matters from early assessment through resolution.
Take and defend depositions and manage significant written discovery.
Research, draft, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and class-related motions.
Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other key litigation documents.
Evaluate and develop strategy for representative actions under PAGA.
Analyze wage & hour issues including employee classification and meal/rest periods.
Collaborate with clients and colleagues across the labor & employment practice.
