Qualifications

• At least five years of litigation experience, with wage-hour defense preferred.
• Active California Bar membership.
• Strong knowledge of the California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy from early assessment through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions and manage significant written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue dispositive and class-related motions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other key litigation documents.
• Evaluate strategy for representative actions brought under PAGA.
• Analyze wage and hour issues including employee classification, meals/rest breaks, and wage statements.
