Job summary

Gordon Prill, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Senior Architect to lead complex industrial and technology projects from inception to construction documents.

You will direct a team of architects, designers, engineers and construction managers, ensuring design quality and adherence to schedule and budget. Requirements include full CA licensure, 10+ years in design or PM for labs/industrial work, and strong presentation and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in California.
• 10 years minimum architectural design or project management experience.
• Experience with labs, clean rooms and industrial projects.
• Ability to own a project from start to finish and oversee the team and consultants.
• Knowledge of Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes.
• Experience with local planning approvals, zoning, and building permits (DSA and HCAI a plus).
• Effective and strong presentation skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication to direct a team of architects, engineers and consultants.

• Own a project from inception through construction documents.
• Oversee the execution of the team and consultants during the design development process.
• Lead collaboration among architects, designers, engineers and construction managers to meet client expectations and schedules.
