Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a California-licensed Litigation Attorney to join the Encino team. You will work under Senior Attorneys and Partners in the litigation department, focusing on personal injury or construction defect cases.

The role requires a JD from an ABA-approved law school, active California Bar status, and a minimum of 3+ years in civil litigation, with strong communication and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member in good standing of the California Bar.
• Minimum of 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous to clients and staff.
• Detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume civil litigation cases, including personal injury or construction defect.
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery, and meet & confers.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
• Attend hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials.
• Retain expert witnesses and develop trial strategies.
• Conduct research and legal analysis.
• Negotiate and settle cases.
• Provide guidance and counsel to clients.
