Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. in Norfolk, VA seeks a Combat Systems Specialist to serve as SME for CVN ROC, supporting CNAL Code N47 with technical analysis, CASREP response, and readiness recommendations for C5ISR combat systems aboard Nimitz and Ford-class carriers.

This contingent, on-site role requires an active secret clearance, ten years of C5ISR experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to brief senior Navy personnel. Travel ~10% and the work is in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required.
• Ten years of distance support and onboard C5ISR repair issues.
• Ten years of C5ISR maintenance, modernization, and repairs on CVNs.
• Ten years of combat systems policies, procedures, practices, and instructions.
• Five years of fluent MS Office experience; articulate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide CASREP response and status tracking for C5ISR equipment.
• Analyze C5ISR ICAVs and provide disposition recommendations to TYCOM and CSO.
• Review CSMP and maintenance plans; estimate man-hours for deficiencies.
• Attend meetings to present analysis and data-driven readiness recommendations.
• Suggest policy and procedural changes for combat systems readiness.
• Analyze weekly/monthly C5ISR status reports and ROC readiness metrics.
• Bid and proposal support if requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
