Job summary

Input Technology Solutions is seeking a motivated C5I Modernization Analyst to join our team in San Diego, CA. This onsite role focuses on maintaining C5I systems, data integrity, and secure configurations to support Navy modernization programs.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years on Navy C5I projects or 6 years of relevant work. Active security clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience on a US Navy shipboard C5I system installation/execution management or 6 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• In‑depth knowledge of Surface Ship Modernization policies and Navy Modernization Program.
• Knowledge of the US Navy Data Environment (NDE), Entitled Process, and AMPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff to support Fleet interoperability and configuration management.
• Review government fielding plans and baselines to ensure synchronization with TYCOM requirements.
• Support TYCOM roles and responsibilities per MON and C5IMP; participate in risk assessments and baseline approvals.

C5I Modernization Analyst

Maintain data files and control procedures for a system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe. Maintain system security and data integrity. Assign passwords and monitor use of resources, back up files as required and work with management to define requests for information. Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. Builds knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets. Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Job Description

Input Technology Solutions is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented C5I Modernization Analyst to join our team in San Diego, CA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Assistant Chief of Staff for C5I efforts to support Fleet interoperability, enforce configuration management, and provide processes for modification of C5I configuration.
• Review and analyze government provided fielding plans, government databases, proposed Ships baseline changes, and coordinate with Product Delivery Program Managers and Ship’s Force representatives to ensure changes to Ships’ baselines are integrated and meet TYCOM mission requirements.
• Assist with the execution of TYCOM roles and responsibilities delineated in the NMP Management Operation Manual (MON) and Joint Fleet Commander C5I Modernization Policy (C5IMP) to include: TYCOM voting, staffing of Risk Assessments, Late Add requests, and approving Ship and Strike Group C5I baselines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience working on a US Navy shipboard C5I system installation execution management and oversight team, to include C5I legacy system maintenance and Life Cycle support OR 6 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• In‑depth knowledge of Surface Ship Modernization policies and process to include Navy Modernization Program and Joint Fleet Commander C5I Modernization Policy
• Knowledge of the US Navy Data Environment (NDE), Entitled Process, and/or the Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS) systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Navy or Marine Corps C5I modernization programs
• Working knowledge of systems engineering frameworks and lifecycle documentation
• Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements in a DoD environment
• Active certification such as Security+, Network+, or PMP

Clearance Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance prior to starting this position
