GVI Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Circuit Board Design Engineer to design, test, and document printed circuit boards for complex C4ISR systems. You will support development, reverse engineering, and qualification activities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet program milestones.

The successful candidate will have a BS in EE/CE/CS or related field, 5+ years with large system design and RF/test experience, and a track record in test software and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/ME/CE/CS/IT/Physics (or related field).
• Master’s degree in the same fields.
• 5 years of C4ISR or equivalent large system design, testing, installation, and analysis.
• Senior project management experience for planning and execution of large programs.
• Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
• Hands-on RF, networking, HiPot testing and spectrum analyzer experience.
• Test software programming and Flying Probe program generation.
• Train, mentor, and support test/repair technicians.
• Troubleshoot tester hardware/software issues.
• Analyze failure data and support quality improvements.

Responsabilités

• Design and test PCB engineering activities including development and documentation.
• Support new capability engineering with design, testing and operation of C4ISR components.
• Analyze results and document functional requirements and test outcomes.
• Train and mentor test/repair technicians.
• Troubleshoot tester hardware and software with customer support.
• Improve prototype and production yields; implement best practices.
• Maintain backups of test programs and data; calibrate equipment.
• Assist in quotes, trials, and process improvements with data collection.
