Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 C2BMC Systems Software Test/DevSecOps Engineers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field and extensive engineering experience with 7+ years (BS) / 5+ years (MS) / 3+ years (PhD). Familiarity with Agile, automated testing, and requirements verification is required; Security+ certification is required within 60 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science.
• 7+ years with a Bachelor's or 5+ years with a Master's or 3+ years with a PhD in related engineering work.
• Experience with analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the Agile software development process.
• Prior experience with automated testing and verifying requirements in software applications/systems.
• Security+ certification (or similar) required within 60 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and experience in automated testing and evaluation of a software-intensive system in various test environments using Agile.
• Self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers.
• Participate in software design and peer reviews; develop test specifications and infrastructure.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests; analyze C2BMC implementation in integrated environments.
• Basics DevSecOps experience.
