Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team at Schriever SFB, CO. In this role you will become a member of the Parson’s TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding.
  • Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists.
  • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration.
  • Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners.
  • Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership.
  • Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines.
  • Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements.
  • Capable of working independently or leading cross‑functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS.
  • Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space‑based program and/or a DoD.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior MDA experience.
Security Clearance Requirements

Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.

Education Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in STEM Discipline.
