Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a highly motivated C2 Systems Engineer to support defense programs. The role involves developing analytical tools, performing system-level evaluations, and delivering mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering, 5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and experience with system analysis, data processing, or radar/sensor systems. DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and reviewing plans and reports to ensure system and software operations comply with requirements and design specifications.
• Perform system-level analysis to identify performance issues and optimization opportunities.
• Performing detailed performance analyses, generating actionable insights, and recommending architectural or algorithmic improvements.
• Translate technical requirements into simulation configurations and test cases within virtualized environments.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Support troubleshooting efforts across distributed systems and infrastructure.
• Contribute technical documentation, reports, and customer deliverables.
• Assist in planning and executing engineering tasks to meet program deadlines.
