Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to support advanced defense programs in Huntsville, AL. You will develop analytical tools, perform system-level evaluations, and contribute to mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced technical environment.

The role requires a DoW SECRET clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with 12 years of software engineering experience.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 12 years of progressively complex software engineering experience.
• Experience with system analysis, data processing, C2 or radar/sensor systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques for complex system problems.
• Develops and reviews plans and reports to ensure compliance with requirements and design specs.
• Performs system-level analysis to identify performance issues and optimization opportunities.
• Analyzes large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
• Translates technical requirements into simulation configurations and test cases.
