Responsibilities

Seeking a SETA professional with extensive experience driving diverse, high-performance defense teams in the development, delivery, and operation of advanced Data Fusion and Command and Control (C2) capabilities. The ideal candidate will leverage experience with systems engineering, tactical operations, and acquisition to architect next-generation decision-support systems.

This role focuses on integrating multi-source, multi-domain sensor data into a unified operational picture, enabling rapid decision-making across tactical, operational, and strategic levels. The SETA will serve as a critical bridge between warfighters, technologists, and acquisition authorities, ensuring that C2 platforms and data fusion technologies are resilient, interoperable, and rapidly transitioned to the field.

Position Responsibilities
  • Support the Government as the functional SME for the integration of data fusion architectures, combining inputs from diverse sensors into a unified, real-time common operational picture (COP).
  • Develop and evaluate Command and Control (C2) concepts of operations (CONOPS) and System of Systems (SoS) architectures to optimize tactical decision-making.
  • Coordinate with the warfighter, ensuring that data visualization and C2 interface designs align with operational workflows and cognitive loads under combat conditions.
  • Draft strategic roadmaps for transitioning emerging technologies into active C2 and data fusion programs.
  • Formulate and defend defendable acquisition strategies for Major System Acquisitions in the C2 domain, navigating stringent fiscal constraints and rapid fielding timelines.
  • Support program portfolios across RDT&E and prototyping to deliver next-generation decision-support software.
  • Facilitate integrated test and evaluation (T&E) programs for software-intensive C2 systems, ensuring operational interoperability, data integrity, and joint-service certification.
  • Support the government in the development of briefs and material on highly technical data architectures and programmatic progress to senior DoW leadership to align multi-domain priorities.
  • Collaborate with diverse multi-service, multi-agency, and industry partners across multiple security levels to eliminate data silos and accelerate capability integration.

  • Proven experience in software test planning, execution oversight, and the utilization of tactical Decision Support Tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program schedules, track performance, and coordinate cross-functional team workflows
  • Solid understanding of the defense industry, military command structures, and acquisition environments
