Job summary

Space is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the FORGE MDPAP program within the Visualization subsystem in Boulder, CO. The role emphasizes strong C++ and Unreal Engine skills, with an opportunity for people management in the future.

The position requires working on-site in Boulder, CO five days a week and maintaining a security clearance due to DoD requirements. You will collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end features and improvements.

Qualifications

• Active Interim DoD Secret Clearance required; U.S. citizenship required and background check.
• 5+ years of professional hands-on experience as a Software Engineer using C++.
• Proficient in Unreal Engine and its language features.
• Professional experience in Linux environments.
• Ability to work onsite in Boulder, CO 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software aligned with program objectives.
• Work independently and with the team to deliver complex features end to end.
• Contribute to containerized, distributed microservice architectures, including development, deployment, and testing.
