Job summary

Request Technology, LLC seeks a senior C++ software engineer to architect, develop, and maintain low-latency trading systems in a Linux environment, focusing on performance and reliability. You will collaborate with traders, quants, and researchers to implement algorithmic ideas, design exchange connectivity and market data feeds, and optimize the full lifecycle from design to production support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing performance-critical software in modern C++ (C++14 or newer).
• Strong knowledge of multi-threading, memory management, and network programming (TCP/UDP).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and network tools (Wireshark, TCPDump).
• Strong organizational and software architecture skills with an eye for performance profiling and optimization.
