Job summary

Homer Skelton Hyundai in Mississippi is seeking an entry-level automotive technician. You’ll perform oil changes, tire rotations, minor services, and battery or tire replacements under guidance, handling tasks that don’t require deep diagnostics.

You’ll train alongside Master Technicians in a family-owned shop, with hands-on mentorship, a clear growth path, and flexible hours. The role is designed to help you build a lasting career in the automotive field.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow into higher-level certifications.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine service tasks.
• Complete minor services and basic diagnostics with guidance.
• Replace tires and batteries as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and document completed tasks.
