Job summary

Crown Hyundai in New York's Town of Florida is seeking an entry-level automotive technician for an evening shift (6 pm–11 pm, Monday–Friday, no weekends). You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, minor services, and battery or tire replacements under guidance.

Education: High School; Experience: Less than 1 year. Basic credentials include ASE or automotive school a plus, clean driver’s license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. This role is part-time with pay based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level position; prior automotive experience encouraged but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic services as directed.
• Replace tires or batteries as needed with guidance.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines in a service bay.

Basic credentials for the automotive service technician position include:

• Automotive service technician experience, all levels needed
• Commitment to be the best automotive service technician in the business
• Devotion to your work as a career
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications, a plus
• Automotive technical school graduate, a plus
• Full background check and driving record, drug screen required
• Clean, valid driver’s license of at least three years - no major infractions
