Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital located in Milford, Mass., serving patients from more than 20 towns in Central Massachusetts. The 149-bed medical center is a nonprofit, acute-care facility, where over 300 primary care and specialty physicians are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.
CT Scan services are provided in our main department, the Emergency department, and at our Milford Regional-Dana-Farber Cancer Center. All CT units have the same scanning platform to facilitate easier assignment rotations.
Statement of Purpose:
Administers ionizing radiation to patients under the direction of a radiologist. Performs diagnostic CT examinations for evaluation and treatment by an attending physician.
Qualifications:
Education:
An associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required. Cross-sectional anatomy courses are also required.
Certification/License:
Registered A.R.R.T., MA License, current CPR skills, CT certification required.
Experience:
Up to 1 year of diagnostic Radiologic experience. 1 year experience in CT preferred. Proficiency in IV contrast infusion techniques with certification in IV infusion.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials include: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid according to hospital policy.
