Job summary

UEC in Needham, MA is seeking an engineering intern to design, develop, and debug C applications on multi-core Linux systems, focusing on high-throughput, low-latency networking. You will work with mentors to advance HPC and electronic trading technologies, reading and writing C code and using Python or Java as needed.

The role requires pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Engineering or CS with at least sophomore standing, a 3.0+ GPA, and strong collaboration in a fast-paced technical environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with Sophomore standing or higher.
• Completed coursework in Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture/Assembly-Language, Performance Engineering, and Networks & Protocols.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Experience coding in C; familiarity with Linux Bash.
• Experience with Python or Java.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
