Job summary

HPR is seeking Applications Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in Massachusetts. You will apply your studies in Computer Engineering, CS, IT, or related fields to support high-performance networking and capital markets infrastructure projects.

You will interact with customers, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to meaningful, real-world engineering work. The role emphasizes strong coding skills in Python/Java, familiarity with C and Linux Bash, and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with Sophomore standing or higher.
• Must have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA if on a 4.0 scale.
• Required programming experience in Python and/or Java; knowledge of C; familiarity with Linux Bash/Shell.

Responsibilities

• Support client-facing engineering tasks and contribute to high-performance networking initiatives.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced technical team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Interface with customers to understand requirements and propose efficient solutions.
