Job summary

Oteemo is seeking a Software Engineer with strong C/C++ fundamentals to design, build, and deliver production-grade software on Linux systems. You will work daily in CI/CD pipelines to compile, test, and deliver C++ artifacts while collaborating across development, operations, and security teams.

This role requires applying solid software design principles, including SOLID, and a DevOps mindset focused on fast, secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Active DOD Secret clearance required.
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ development on Linux and associated command-line toolchains.
• Daily experience using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to build, test, and deliver software artifacts.
• Solid foundation in software engineering best practices: Git version control, code reviews, static analysis, and build/test troubleshooting.
• Strong grounding in software design fundamentals, including design patterns, architectural styles, and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C/C++ applications on Linux using command-line tooling and associated toolchains.
• Work daily within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to automatically compile, test, and deliver C++ artifacts, containerized or otherwise.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including Git version control, code reviews, static analysis, and troubleshooting build and test failures.
• Apply strong software design fundamentals: design patterns, architectural styles, and SOLID principles to build maintainable, scalable systems.
