The role focuses on sustaining, analyzing, and optimizing sensor performance to ensure mission readiness, improve detection and tracking, and support evolving operational requirements. Strong collaboration with government and industry teams is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience evaluating, assessing, and supporting current and emerging sensor technologies.
• Experience with C-sUAS detection and mitigation systems.
• Ability to analyze complex technical data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Background and drug screening clearance.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of C-UAS sensor systems to ensure operational effectiveness and QA compliance.
• Analyze system data and performance metrics to identify trends and improve detection capabilities.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and government to cyber-harden systems and maximize availability.
• Integrate sensor systems and effectors in the common operational picture and C2 system.
• Field new technology and implement system modernization initiatives.
• Assess sensor performance and develop recommendations to reduce false alarms while enhancing reliability.
• Maintain and manage system performance databases and analytical records.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to government stakeholders and leadership.
• Support technology assessments of current and emerging sensor capabilities to inform future requirements.
• Coordinate with government, engineering, and operational teams to address technical issues and implement improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
