Reports to: Store Manager

Type of Position: Full time or part time

Essential Job Duties, Responsibilities, & Requirements

• Provide friendly greetings to all customers upon entering the store or on the phone.
• Get to know customers and use their names.
• Make customers feel important and valued.
• Provide fast service and suggest additional products when appropriate.
• Be friendly, enthusiastic, respectful, and polite.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and honesty.
• Be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Communicate effectively and work well alone or in a team.
• Stay busy between customers and help associates and customers as needed.
• Complete tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and merchandise placement.
• Check for out-of-date merchandise and maintain store cleanliness.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements

• Must be in good physical condition, able to stand for entire shift, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a cooler at 35°F for up to 30 minutes.
• Must have good vision, tolerate fumes and cleaning products, and react appropriately to emergencies.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in English are required.
