Job summary

Midwest Fitness Partners in Louisiana seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations for video gaming and restaurant services. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and customer service excellence, with experience in computer systems and cash handling.

The ideal candidate will assist the Manager with deposits, scheduling, training, inventory control, vendor relations, and merchandising, and is expected to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Knowledge of Fleet Cards, Comdata and SSCS systems is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain licenses within a reasonable time frame.
• Salary will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop all new hires.
• Verify cashiers daily paperwork to ensure balancing of each shift.
• Make deposits to bank in a timely manner to ensure accuracy of daily sales reports.
• Make change for cashiers as needed.
• Ensure open/close of shifts are done in a timely manner according to policy.
• Maintaining inventory control.
• Check all Vendor deliveries to ensure invoice is correct.
• Record daily transaction amounts from cash register to balance drawer.
• Bags merchandise, issues receipts, and redeems promotional coupons.
• Review price sheets for price accuracy on gas, deli, beer, liquor, or tobacco and all sale items.
