Job Summary:

The C-Store Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in maintaining efficient store operations, maximizing revenue, ensuring customer satisfaction, controlling expenses, and fostering a productive team. They help recruit, train, develop, and retain staff to keep the store clean, well-stocked, and ready for business at all times.

Customer focus and outgoing, energetic attitude are essential for success in this role.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report to work and work assigned shift hours, including at least two nights per week.
• Wear proper uniform with name badge.
• Perform shift duties as trained and assigned by the Area Manager.
• Operate within Company Guidelines and adhere to all beverage laws.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers.
• Maintain sanitary standards, achieving a store inspection grade of at least 90%.
• Complete RTO training as required.
• Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, parking lot, trashcans, fuel islands, windows, doors, transaction counters, sidewalks, fountain area, and merchandise areas.
• Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, discipline, and termination.
• Ensure proper cash handling and timely bank deposits.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically fit to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in coolers, climb ladders, and react to emergencies.
• Must have visual acuity, basic math skills, and effective communication in English.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
