Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Software Engineer for the Core Data team to build foundational systems that capture, persist, move and retrieve data from our autonomous vehicle fleet. You will tackle high-speed, real-time data challenges with constrained compute and storage resources.

You will own complex problems from investigation through design, implementation, validation and rollout, collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, scalable vehicle data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor2s degree and 3+ years of professional software development.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, IPC, or networking.
• Ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical architecture and implementation of on-vehicle data systems.
• Design and develop high-performance systems for capturing, storing, retrieving, and transmitting vehicle data.
• Own complex problems from investigation through rollout.
• Collaborate across teams through requirements definition and code reviews.
