Job summary

Siemens EDA in Burlington, MA is seeking a Software Engineer – C++ / Digital Logic Design to develop and enhance a compiler that maps customer designs onto emulator resources. You will work in C++ on Linux, analyse clock/data networks, and perform partitioning, placement, and synthesis to map designs onto emulators.

You will design new compiler functionality, support existing features, and write system-level tests.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 0 to 3 years of industry software development experience in large C++ applications.
• Experience with algorithm and data structure design.
• Understanding of gate-level digital logic design.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the compiler's design analysis and mapping components.
• Analyze clock and data networks, partition designs, and perform placement and synthesis.
• Design and implement new compiler functionality and support existing features.
• Write and maintain system-level tests and develop new testing strategies.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams across multiple sites.
