Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or later) and OO design principles.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ extensions, plugins, and modules for AFSIM.
• Implement new simulation capabilities, physics-based modeling, and sensor/weapon interfaces.
• Integrate external libraries or models into the AFSIM runtime.
• Translate analyst requirements into robust software features and maintainability.
• Debug, optimize, and validate plugin behavior in complex simulations.
• Maintain documentation, API references, and integration guides.
