Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Everett, WA seeks a software professional to contribute to C++ and Perl projects across Linux environments. You will build, optimize, and maintain high-performance applications and automation tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features.

Expect code reviews, testing, and DevOps practices, with exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and databases like SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of object oriented programming and modern C++ standards.
• Strong knowledge of Perl syntax and OO Perl for tools development.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments with scheduled applications.
• Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ and SQL databases (SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and responsive UI design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable software with C++.
• Design and maintain tools with Perl; build automation components.
• Collaborate across teams to define requirements and integrate systems.
• Optimize code for performance, security, and scalability.
• Triage issues, write unit/integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
• Manage development environments and Git-based workflows.
