Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a dynamic CNA for a per diem day shift on the Medical/Telemetry Unit in Sparks, NV. Provide safe, competent nursing assistant care and support the healthcare team in a patient-centered environment.

Requirements include Nevada CNA license and current BLS certification; experience in acute care is preferred. Per diem role with per shift scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada CNA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA program preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.

This C.N.A. opportunity is a per diem position on our Medical/Telemetry Unit and offers a convenient day shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic C.N.A. to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients. You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
