Job summary

GDS Group, a B2B executive events business, seeks a Technology Editor and Events Host to headline summits and chair high-level roundtables. You will interview CIOs/CISOs, shape content, and ensure live sessions deliver value for senior technology leaders.

You will collaborate with production and marketing, host both physical and digital events, and travel monthly across the US and Europe to curate impactful agendas.

Qualifications

• Experience interviewing or presenting to senior technology executives live, on stage or on camera.
• Understanding how enterprises adopt new technology: AI, cloud, security, data.

Responsibilities

• Host plenary sessions, keynote interviews and fireside chats at GDS Group summits in the US.
• Chair executive roundtables and sponsored dinners, in person and virtual, for groups of eight to fifteen senior technology leaders.
• Interview C-suite guests for podcast series and editorial engagements.
• Set the editorial direction of each summit, define themes and problems delegates want to solve.
• Build the content case for every event with production and marketing teams.
• Maintain a live view of what senior technology leaders are implementing and feed it back into positioning.
• Review sponsored briefs, approve topics that add value and coordinate sponsorship alignment.
• Plan, edit sponsored reports and e-books to read as insights.
• Edit copy from the production team for sense, accuracy and readability.
• Represent GDS Group as a credible voice on enterprise technology.
