Job summary

SQUAD is seeking a skilled C++ Embedded Engineer to take ownership of critical software components for camera-based security devices. This role focuses on debugging, bug fixing, and developing new features across the software stack.

Responsibilities include high-performance embedded development, optimization for constrained environments, and collaboration with hardware, product, and QA teams. Strong C++, RTOS, and MCU knowledge are required; English proficiency (B1) is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• C++ expertise (C++17) with RTOS and MCU knowledge (ARM, RISC-V).
• Proficient in the full SDLC: Git, CMake, code reviews, CI.
• Strong network programming and multithreading on multicore MCUs.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B1).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software in C++ for camera devices.
• Debug and fix complex software, hardware, and network issues across the stack.
• Develop new features and improve existing codebases.
• Optimize software for resource-constrained environments.
• Lead code reviews and mentor team members.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions.
• Collaborate with QA to create testing strategies.
