Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated C+E driver for day or night shifts to join the team. responsibilities include transporting goods, performing inspections, loading/unloading, and accurate log maintenance across long distances.

Start times vary around 06:00 with Monday–Friday work; 40–60 hours weekly; immediate start. UK licence with C+E is required and penalties ≤6 points; prior HGV experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement and up to 6 penalty points.
• Minimum two years' experience driving HGVs, preferably curtainside.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual; able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage, and fuel records accurately.
• Communicate with dispatchers and clients about schedules and delays.
• Adhere to traffic laws and keep the vehicle clean and maintained.

HGV Rates are as follows: From £16.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | asap

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled C+E days or nights to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtainside trailers, is highly desirable. The successful driver will be responsible for long-distance driving.

Pay:£16 to £22 per hour (paid weekly)

Monday–Friday flexible start time but will be around 06:00 start depending of delivery or collection times

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) with a C+E entitlement

Experience in driving hgv with a minimum of two years

Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual

• Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR10, CD10, IN10)
