SIG Susquehanna seeks an experienced Software Developer to join our front office team designing and building low-latency trading systems that power our strategies. Production readiness and robust design are core expectations as your work moves quickly from idea to live systems.

You will own the full stack—from architecture through implementation—focusing on speed, reliability, and scalability while collaborating with traders and quants to translate market needs into resilient software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related discipline or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience developing software or trading infrastructure.
• Strong system design with balance of performance, reliability, and simplicity.
• Experience with high-performance or low-latency development.
• Solid OO programming skills and sound engineering practices.
• Ability to work with traders and quants to shape technical solutions.
• Curiosity to investigate new technologies and propose improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance, low-latency systems where architecture affects trading outcomes.
• Own the full technical stack—from design through implementation—with emphasis on stability, scalability, and risk reduction.
• Evaluate and prototype new technologies to keep systems ahead of the curve.
• Apply strong software engineering fundamentals to build fast, maintainable systems.
