Job summary

Boeing Future of Flight is seeking a Software Engineer – Secure Network & Protocols for the GTE Software Team in Oklahoma City, OK. This 1-year contract role focuses on upgrading and integrating software for E7 Training System platforms, with 100% onsite work and Secret clearance eligibility.

You will develop software architectures, write and test code, and collaborate with engineers and product managers within an Agile CD/CI environment to deliver reliable network and protocol solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Object-Oriented Programming.
• 8+ years experience programming in C/C++.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software architecture, designs, and documentation.
• Code, integrate and test software components within an Agile scrum team.
• Develop verification plans, test procedures, and environments; execute tests and document results.
• Lead technical design for new product development with customer focus.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to decompose system features into backlog items.
• Serve as subject matter expert on software domains, regulations, and processes.
• Research and develop software solutions, documenting outcomes.
