Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the B-1B Software team in Oklahoma City, OK. You will contribute to avionics software for bomber platforms and simulations, working across requirements, design, code, and test in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates bring 14+ years in software, with Ada experience, and a Secret clearance. Relocation is available; first shift with potential alternate shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 14+ years of professional software engineering experience including Ada/C/C++/C#/Ada (10+ years in Ada).
• Experience leading software projects or teams in the SDLC.
• Experience developing embedded real-time software and hardware.
• Experience with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS).

Responsibilities

• Oversees software development on agile teams to integrate/implement platform solutions.
• Oversees high-fidelity simulation and environment software to enable rapid development, test, and deployment of software.
• Apply analytical problem-solving to resolve complex technical problems for the company and suppliers.
• Lead improvements to capabilities for war-fighter and maintainers.
• Apply engineering principles to improve processes and tools.
• Lead software analysis efforts and communicate with stakeholders.
