Job summary

CAE Simuflite is seeking a C-130J Pilot Initial Qualification course instructor to support the KAM role and liaise with CAE and the 37SQN, reporting to the C-130J Lead Instructor for training delivery, assessment and course materials.

The role involves preparing, delivering and evaluating training materials, classroom and simulator sessions, and contributing to aviation safety management and CAE initiatives as directed by the Lead Instructor.

Qualifications

• Be authorised by the Commanding Officer of RAAF Central Flying School as a competent Simulator Pilot Instructor.
• Hold or gain Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
• Have a minimum of two (2) years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment, or have a minimum of 1000 command hours on multi engine, multi crew and tactical transport aircraft C-27J, C-130J multi engine tactical transport or similar aircraft.
• Have completed or ability to complete ground training segments of the C-130J Pilot Conversion Course.
• Hold an Australian Citizenship and hold or be eligible to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
