Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a C-130J Digitization Engineer to support engineering, manufacturing, tooling and digital transformation for the C-130J program in Marietta, GA. Responsibilities include 3D CAD validation, drawing interpretation, and tooling development.

The role requires strong CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE experience, 3D model creation/modification, and experience in aircraft manufacturing environments. Onsite work in Marietta, GA is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
• Experience reading and interpreting 2D drawings, tooling and BOMs, and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Ability to create and modify 3D models and evaluate assemblies.
• Experience in aircraft manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate 3D CAD models against 2D drawings.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate model corrections to suppliers.
• Resolve technical inquiries from third-party suppliers.
• Develop and revise 2D drawings for digitization.
• Coordinate with engineering and supplier teams during scanning.
• Support tooling and production-part scanning activities.
• Validate digital scan data and ensure CAD data accuracy.
• Provide manufacturing engineering and tool engineering support.
• Document work hours and support program reporting.
