Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks an Aeronautical Engineering Manager to lead the Structures Design team supporting the C130 digitization effort. You will assign work scope, manage suppliers, priorities, metrics, and resources.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, plus management experience and hands-on knowledge of airframe design, production support and PLM/CAD tools such as Catia V5 and NX/Teamcenter.
You will be the Aeronautical Engineering Manager for the Structures Design team which is responsible for supporting the C130 digitization effort. This effort includes reviewing 3D models provided by a supplier to ensure accuracy and completeness. The detail part and assembly models will be reviewed and validated in Catia V5 for accuracy and to perform clash analysis.
As the Aeronautical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for assigning work scope, managing a supplier, managing priorities, metrics reporting, and resources (both direct LM and contractor).
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
