Job summary

Calista Corporation seeks an Aircraft Mechanic I with expertise in C-130 hydraulics to join our Tampa Bay/Florida maintenance team. The role covers on-equipment/off-equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on C-130 aircraft, with emphasis on safety and quality compliance.

The candidate will read schematics, perform inspections, document actions, and support ground handling and routine pre/post-flight checks.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components and C-130J/H systems including hydraulics, structures, engines, refuel pods, and electrical systems.
• Experience performing periodic, and other hourly, special, or calendar inspections.
• Proficiency with aircraft tools such as test equipment and torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on C-130 pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: analyze malfunctions and perform checks using TOs and IETMs.
• Component Replacement: remove, install, overhaul, and bench-check hydraulic components.
