Job summary

Calista and Subsidiaries seeks an Aircraft Mechanic I to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify C-130J/H aircraft systems at a Lockheed Martin facility in Florida. The role requires reading manuals, performing inspections, and using aircraft-specific tools to restore equipment condition and operation.

The position may require first, second, or third shift and demands US citizenship due to security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components with troubleshooting and replacement.
• Broad knowledge of C-130J/H systems including hydraulics, structures, engines, refuel pods, and electrical systems.
• Experience performing periodic inspections and other hourly or calendar inspections.
• Familiar with AFTO 781 forms, DTADS, IMDS data entry.
• Experience with aircraft launch/recovery, preflight and post-flight inspections.
• Prior experience as Refuel/Defuel, Aircraft Jack, and Tow Team Supervisor.
• HAZMAT/HAZWASTE handling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft components.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and data to determine repair methods.
• Perform periodic inspections and prepare equipment for flight.
• Operate and document using DTADS and IMDS.
• Work onsite at Lockheed Martin facility and support related maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements during aircraft servicing.
