Job summary

SelectTech Services Corporation in Colorado Springs seeks an Aircraft Modification Operations Manager to lead hands-on modification work, schedule planning, and team oversight for installing pre-built modification kits on C-130 airframes. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity while aligning with AS9100/ISO standards and company values.

In this role you will work with cross-functional leaders to optimize production, coordinate resources, and train staff.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience leading modification crews on C-130 or similar airframes.
• Experience with wiring installation drawings and routing diagrams.
• Ability to read structural drawings and direct team members.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• May require certain certifications in the field.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, timelines, and constraints.
• Ensure safety of the modification operation.
• Ensure operations and employees follow quality procedures and policies.
• Supervise and coordinate personnel for on-aircraft modifications and related activities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations, Safety Officer, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager to set production/quality standards.
• Plan and direct production activities and priorities to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate safety, procurement, maintenance, and production planning for optimal resources.
• Review production to identify non-conformities and implement improvements.
• Ensure training for new hires and cross-training for current staff.
