Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Irrigation Leadman to repair and maintain irrigation systems and oversee field production. The role requires hands-on skills with gauges and equipment, plus leadership to manage crew performance in outdoor environments.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a strong work ethic, knowledge of blueprints, and solid communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, irrigation certification is advantageous, and the work is outdoors in varying

Duties And Responsibilities

• Detect and make necessary repairs to the irrigation system.

• Manage employees and oversee production in the field.
• Operate light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issues.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge of blueprints
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Irrigation certification is a plus.

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Ability to work in extreme conditions–temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
• Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.
• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water.
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (overtime/weekend work required).

Work Environment

• This role works in an outdoor work environment.
