REVOLVE, a premier fashion retailer, is hiring a Buying Assistant in Cerritos, CA. You will support the buying department with daily tasks, enter and manage orders, and build relationships with vendors and the buying team.

The role requires strong organization and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a fashion-related degree, proficiency with Gmail/Excel/Word, and at least some data-entry experience.

Main purpose of the Buying Assistant

As a buying assistant, you will assist the buying department in daily tasks, enter and manage orders, and develop strong relationships with vendors, sales analysts and the buying team. You will comprehend the buying process and complete administrative tasks as needed. This is a permanent full-time role for a candidate who has exceptional organization skills that will thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Major Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversee the completion of order entry and ongoing reorder management, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Manage and execute trend and product detail tagging, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Manage discrepancies and shipping updates
• Send selling reports to vendors
• Manage vendor forms, new brand paperwork requests and fur documents
• Sample requests, coordination and tracking
• Email correspondences in a timely and communicative manner
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management
• Join brand appointments with the buyer, both virtually and in person for local markets.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the fashion landscape, with a keen eye for emerging trends and up-and-coming brands

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Merchandising Management or similar field
• Proficient in Gmail, Excel, Word and online navigation
• Previous experience with data entry

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a showroom, buying office or fashion industry environment.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly is $23.00/hr to $24.00/hr.
