Job summary

Business of Home is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier relationships and the end-to-end sourcing process for a range of products. You will coordinate with design, production, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery, negotiate terms, and maintain ERP data for cost optimization.

The role requires coordinating domestic and international suppliers, ensuring accurate BOMs, and driving cost efficiencies across multiple product categories.

Responsibilities

• Manage product demand based on sales orders, inventory, forecasts and project requirements.
• Source products, materials, components, manufacturers and production solutions internationally.
• Understand design briefs, drawings, samples, specifications and materials, and identify appropriate suppliers and manufacturing methods.
• Manage product development from sourcing and sampling through production, shipping and delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms and production lead times and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure consistent supplier follow-up.
• Coordinate production across multiple suppliers, countries and product categories.
• Monitor deadlines and proactively resolve delays, shortages, quality issues and technical challenges.
• Work closely with Sales Administration on availability, production status and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with Design on materials, finishes, prototypes, samples and technical requirements.
• Manage product nomenclatures, SKUs, components and Bills of Materials when required.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, production and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate inventory arrivals and ensure goods are correctly received and recorded.
• Manage domestic and international logistics, including freight, transportation, duties, taxes, customs clearance and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate product transformation, finishing or assembly when multiple suppliers or components are involved.
• Coordinate supplier payments and production commitments with Operations and Finance, maintaining visibility on cash-flow requirements.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and continuously identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Solve operational problems proactively and communicate risks clearly.
