Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and invoices with accurate purchasing records.
• Review inventory levels and execute replenishment activities.
• Maintain vendor communications and develop strong supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with finance to ensure transactions are processed accurately.
• Support forecasting and inventory planning efforts.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams regarding shipments and material availability.
• Resolve purchasing discrepancies and supply issues while identifying process improvement opportunities.

Job Title: Buyer / Planner Location: Savage, MN Compensation: $28.00–$30.00 per hour – paid weekly Schedule: 1st shift | Approximately 20–25 hours per week | 4–5 hours per day Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Part-time

About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Buyer / Planner for a performance products company in Savage, MN. In this role, you’ll support purchasing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and day-to-day operational activities while helping ensure product availability and accurate purchasing and inventory records. This position begins onsite with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule once training is complete. Read below for more information!

What You'll Do as a Buyer / Planner

• Manage purchase orders and invoices while maintaining accurate purchasing records
