Job Opportunity: Procurement Specialist (Remote)

Are you experienced in procurement, supply chain, and planning? Do you have a background working with vendors to ensure timely delivery across warehouses? Our company, specializing in medical equipment and parts distribution, is seeking a qualified individual for a remote role. Candidates should reside in Central or Eastern time zones, have reliable internet, and be proficient in ERP forecasting and planning.

Salary: $21 - $25 per hour

Shift: First shift, 8 AM - 5 PM

Education: High School diploma required

Responsibilities

1. Use ERP systems to review inventory levels and make purchasing decisions aligned with financial goals.
2. Monitor slow-moving inventory to eliminate excess or obsolete stock.
3. Create purchase orders for equipment and parts, managing warehouse and drop-shipment inventories.
4. Coordinate with sales, account management, and marketing teams to meet customer demand.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to address product shortages with suggested replacements.
6. Assess supplier performance regarding delivery, damage, and fill rates.
7. Communicate with vendors on pricing, packaging, and delivery issues.
8. Set up and update new items and pricing in the ERP system.
9. Assist with new supplier onboarding.
10. Apply forecasting, inventory management, and purchase order knowledge effectively.
