Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Buyer Planner II for Aftermarket R&O in Burbank, CA. You will coordinate planning for customer repair units, place SIP purchase orders, and work with Value Streams, Supervisors, Marketing, and Master Scheduling to ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities include scheduling repairs, resolving material issues, and driving efficiency through lean practices. Requires 2–4 years in buying/planning and a related degree; strong Excel/Word, and MRP knowledge.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Materials-related field preferred.
• Experience in buying, planning or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel/Word skills; proficient with Access databases.
• Knowledge of MRP, inventory control, and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning of customer repair units to support Aftermarket activities.
• Enter purchase orders for SIP Parts and follow up on open POs.
• Coordinate resolution of material issues to ensure material availability.
• Schedule repair jobs to meet Turn-Around-Times and deadlines.
